Upon the check-in at the reception desk you will receive an exclusive card for the HellensteinBad aquarena which will be valid for the entire duration of your stay at the Schlosshotel Hellenstein.
Simply show your card at the cash desk and then enjoy pure pleasure and relaxation at the HellensteinBad aquarena.
Perfect Sports and Fitness
The 50 m pool provides plenty of space to swim. The water temperature will be pleasant at 28 °C. The sports pool has a diving area with 1, 3 and 5 m platforms. You can splash around with your kids in the children's pool at 32 °C.
The outdoor pool invites you to wind down under the open sky. 18 massage jets, two splash showers and a mushroom fountain keep the circulation going and ensure pure relaxation. With a water temperature of 34 °C, it's cozy and warm here even in winter.
The hot water whirlpool with six whirl loungers, six whirl benches, four massage jets and two underwater spotlights offers maximum comfort for all those who want to be indulged in the warm water of 36 °C.
Pure Relaxation and Recreation
In the panorama sauna, up to 40 people can enjoy a sauna session at 90 °C with a beautiful panoramic view of the city of Heidenheim and Hellenstein Castle. An ice fountain provides cooling.
In the “Köhler”sauna, up to 25 guests can take a sauna session at 90 °C-100 °C. The automatic infusion system heats up at regular intervals.
At around 60 °C and 60 % humidity, about 20 guests may enjoy soothing warmth in the rustic ambience of the “Kräuterhäusle” sauna. Pleasant scents emerge from a copper kettle situated above the oven, which is regularly filled with fresh herbs.
The round steam bath can accommodate 12 guests on two levels at about 45 °C and 100 % humidity.
In the main building of the sauna area, guests can also enjoy the salt room. Finely misted brine moistens the upper respiratory tract, decongests the mucous membranes and can thus help to relieve respiratory diseases and allergies.
After and between sauna sessions, you can relax in the relaxation room equipped with two infrared seats or in the cozy fireplace room with a real wood-burning stove.
Leisure and Fun for Families
Special highlights for old and young people are our two slides: A “Black Hole” tube slide of a length of 95 m with alternating translucent segments creates impressive light and dark effects as well as a 55 m raft water slide takes tube sliding to a new level.
The newly designed children's play area also provides plenty of fun for our small visitors.
Other attractions include a varied range of sports in the adjacent fitness studio, as well as table tennis, pool, air field hockey and table soccer.

Whether an action-packed animation, the coolest pool party of the year, an extraordinary movie night on the water or turbulent paddling competitions in real bathtubs: The HellensteinBad aquarena regularly organizes a variety of events that transform the pool into a colorful adventure park.
Pure Enjoyment and Culinary Diversity
The bistro "Zur Helga" also offers a daily selection of culinary delights as well as cool or hot drinks. For example, delicious pasta dishes and pizzas are freshly prepared and the guests can watch the preparation of the food. Depending on the season and weather, the beer garden in the spacious outdoor area invites you to linger.
